Here are four unique courses developed to teach specific stone layouts
and strokes for the treatment of well defined issues.
Each ‘stroke’ is actually a sequence of motions and/or stone placements
that is a full body treatment. Because each treatment is so specific and
reproducible they work very well for the spa setting.
There are 12
individual treatment plans offered in the 4 'Sacred Strokes'
courses. Each day is spent in demonstrations and lectures followed
by practice sessions. There are four separate Sacred Stokes courses,
with three strokes or treatments, in each course. They are listed as
Sacred Strokes 1, 2, 3 and 4, but you may take the classes in any
order.
The course manuals offer full illustration and written text
to support your education.
Some specific issues
addressed in the Sacred Strokes courses include;
grief, depression, physical or emotional imbalance, trauma and post
trauma symptoms, pre and post surgery pain, domestic violence, addictions and other
complications. Sacred Strokes is a method
that allows the therapist to tailor the treatment plan to the specific
needs of the individual.
A
pleasurable benefit of knowing these strokes for the therapist is a
renewed sense of purpose, lack of boredom and a re-energized
treatment plan.
