Shamanic Journey (One Day event, see calendar or hosting for more information)
Indigenous cultures of old
have relied on the Shaman to use a process called ‘Journey’ to help
with relieving everything from physical stress, emotional turmoil
and even mental illness. The process involves a form of guided
meditation where the participant allows themselves to be led through
visioning, in a day dreaming state, to explore other worlds,
experiences, and other times in history, the future or other
realities.
During all workshops several traditional ceremonies are gifted to the students. The first is a ‘Smudging’ done with sage and a full explanation of the history and meaning behind this common practice is explored.
Each culture has a slightly
different method and intention behind the use of smoke as a cleanser
and purifier. This gentle form of aroma therapy is implemented to
set the stage for this experience.
A discussion of the day’s events and how to apply the information gathered during the Journey in everyday life concludes the workshop. Abundance, Peace, Harmony, Balance Click here to return to the top of the page.

Supplies You will need to bring; drinking water, pillows or cushions for your comfort while laying on the floor or ground, eye covers, a cozy blanket, a very light finger food lunch and a note pad and pen.
Hand outs are provided for additional reading. This event may be held out doors weather permitting.
Each member of the group is invited to place something on the altar to gather the energies of this experience, so bring along a small item of personal significance or a piece of jewelry.
